Contemporary Monastic System- Reformed Aspects in the Context of Sufism Teachings

When we look at the Sufi literature developed in the Islamic world, we can see that the Sufis paid attention to the external rules of Sharia as well as the inner affairs. They taught the text of Holy Book Quran and its teaching in detail. They as well as taught the love of God and the love of the Messenger, peace be upon him, obedience to God and the obedience of the Messenger. But on the other hand, we can observe that, there are many defects in today's Khanqahi system, such as the concept of inheritance in succession, anti-Shariat tariqat, wrong interpretations of the philosophy of unity of existence, distance from the knowledge of religious leaders, greed for wealth, lack of purification and training, projects of service to the people. Due to these defects, Khanqahi system and teachings of Sufism were discredited. Therefore, there is a need to renew and change the Sufism and Khanqahi system. The research under review has been compiled on such points and aspects.
