Man is a combination of soul and body, just as the body needs food to stay strong and healthy. Similarly, for the strength of the soul, he tries to get close to God. Therefore, since ancient times, people have adopted numerous acts of worship and self-immolation in various ways for the peace of their souls. When the social responsibilities started to hinder their worship, they avoided the social responsibilities and took refuge in the corner and would engage in worshiping God only for the sake of being close to him. They hurt them in different ways because according to them their soul is imprisoned in the body and after liberation from this imprisonment it will meet its God. The human body is addicted to interests and sensual desires and it repeatedly inclines a person towards the world, so people like to be free from it.
Allah Ta'ala created this world for man. And made him his caliph. He subjected all the creatures of the world to him. Humans are naturally used to living together. Where he has to perform various responsibilities. These responsibilities give a person a prominent position in the society. Avoiding them causes him to degrade in human status. Renunciation of the world is an unnatural act. While different religions have not only adopted it but still teach it today.
